SILVA seminar on the management of Swedish Church forests

About 6% of the Swedish forest is owned by the Swedish Church and other private for-profit and non-profit associations.
In this seminar we have invited Sofia Bäcklund, who manages the Swedish church forests. We will get to know more about how the forests are managed, current chalenges and how research conducted at SLU can help in tackling these challenges. Sofia is a PhD alumni from the faculty of Forest Sciences. Her thesis was on The introduction of Pinus contorta in Sweden.
