SLU Aquaculture gathering

Most welcome to an SLU Aquaculture gathering 12-13 September 2022 at Krusenberg Herrgård! During this lunch to lunch meeting you will meet your aquaculture fellows at SLU, get an update on what’s happening within SLU aquaculture research, have the opportunity to discuss new collaborations and how to strengthen aquaculture at SLU. Target group is SLU researchers and PhD students with an interest in aquaculture-related research. Last day to register is 9 August.

Preliminary program

During these two days, we will listen to research presentations, discuss possible joint efforts for upcoming calls, as well as have the opportunity to influence SLU Aquaculture's focus ahead. We look forward to pleasant days in a beautiful environment, which encourages mingling and networking.

Accommodation and travel information

The cost for accommodation and all meals are covered by SLU Aquaculture for all participants. Travel expenses, for participants who comes from other SLU locations than the Uppsala-Stockholm area (i.e. Alnarp, Skara and Umeå), are also covered by SLU Aquaculture.

Note! Very important information regarding the booking of hotel room and invoice for travel expenses

  • You need to book your room by latest 9 August by contacting Krusenberg Herrgård! For booking terms and contact information, see "Facts" below.
  • Book your travel via your department (Egencia), according to SLU travel guidelines, i.e. preferably by train. To receive reimbursement for your expenses, an internal invoice should be sent to SLU Aquaculture. More information about cost centre and reference will be sent in a confirmation email when registering. Note! Only applicable for participants outside the Uppsala-Stockholm area.

SLU Aquaculture cover the cost of the conference, accommodation and all meals during this gathering. The platform also cover travel expenses for participants who comes from other SLU locations than the Uppsala-Stockholm area (i.e. Alnarp, Skara and Umeå).

Accommodation - booking terms and conditions

Single rooms are pre-booked by SLU Aquaculture, but you need to confirm the reservation to Krusenberg Herrgård (konferens@krusenbergherrgard.se, phone +46 (0)18-18 03 59) by latest 9 August.

If you wish to cancel your room reservation, you have to notify Krusenberg Herrgård by latest 15 August for free of charge cancellation. Otherwise SLU Aquaculture must pay for empty rooms.

Note the booking terms and conditions below: 

  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 weeks before.
  • If canceled later than 4 weeks before the conference, 75 % of the accommodation cost will be charged.
  • If canceled later than 2 weeks before the conference, 100 % of the accommodation cost will be charged.
