SLU launches Agroforestry Network

Published: 15 November 2016

Agroforestry has lately received more attention as a sustainable land management practice in developing countries and as a powerful tool in climate change mitigation and poverty alleviation. On Tuesday, November 22, Agroforestry Network is launched.

This initiative gives Swedish scientists, and organisations within environment and development cooperation, new possibilities for cooperation and advocacy. The network is founded by Vi Agroforestry (Vi-skogen), SLU Global, SIANI and Focali with the aim to increase the knowledge and implementation of agroforestry in development projects.
