Department of Molecular Sciences - a new department at the BioCentre

The 1st of January 2017, the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, the Department of Food Science and the Department of Microbiology will merge into a new department.
The name of the department will be the Department of Molecular Sciences and it will still be located in Biocentrum at Ultuna in Uppsala.
- We hope that this new constellation will give rise to many new collaborations. It will be exciting to have so many new colleagues, says Vadim Kessler, who will be Head of the new department.
