Research strategy and canoeing at Högsbo

The meeting was led by Malin von Essen, and an important goal was to assess which exiting research projects could be created together with the recently arrived professors Sara Hallin and Hans Ronne.

We discussed the Department's history, from the formation of the Department, to the first computer, the PCR technique, the arrival of bioinformatics and forward. In addition, we got the opportunity to do a canoe trip out into the lakes, something that was extra interesting for guest researchers that has not gotten the opportunity yet to discover the Swedish nature.
