Two new Formas projects to the department

In Formas yearly open call were two applications from the department granted. One project is about the connection between streams and riparian ecosystems. The other project is about mercury in catchment runoff.

Richard Johnson, professor at the Department of Aquatic and Environmental Assessment, has been granted 3 million SEK for the a project about deepening the knowledge about connections between streams and riparian ecosystems. 

Karin Eklöf, postdoc at the Department of Aquatic and Environmental Assessment, has been granted 3 million SEK for a project about forestr logging factors affecting export of mercury in catchment runoff.
