Ylva Hillbur - new Pro Vice-Chancellor for International relations

The new Pro Vice-Chancellor, Ylva Hillbur, was previously employed at SLU in Alnarp, where she researched as a chemical ecologist and has been head of the department. For the past few years she has been on leave of absence to work as Deputy Director General of IITA (International Institute of Tropical Agriculture) in Ibadan, Nigeria.
On 24 February, the vice-chancellor, deputy vice-chancellor and the other pro vice-chancellors gathered in Alnarp to welcome Ylva.
Ylva Hillbur brings important experience of international research and development. She will be based in Alnarp, but her work will span the whole world.
