Course on enzyme regulation with world-leading experts at SLU

Published: 03 December 2018

In November 2018, the graduate schools “Focus on Food and Biomaterials” and “Organism Biology” organized the PhD course “Advances in enzyme regulation”. The course included lectures on the cutting-edge theory and methods in chemical and molecular biology delivered by world-leading experts.

– This course is a great opportunity for the students to connect with scholars from different areas, with different perspectives and views, and discuss own ideas with them”, says Professor Peter Bozhkov.

– We hope that this course will inspire the students to advance their own areas of research by implementing innovative methodology and approaches they have learned”, says Associate Professor Galia Zamaratskaia.

Course participants from SLU, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm University and University of Copenhagen liked this course very much.

–The course gave a good overview of current breakthroughs in protein biology. It was held in a very interactive manner, which gave an opportunity for the listeners to have their questions directly answered by experts of the field”, says PhD student Laura Okmane.
