Kevin Bishop elected to KSLA

Professor Kevin Bishop from the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment has been elected as a new fellow at the Forestry Section in the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.

At the meeting of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) on 12 December, 2019, were 30 new fellows elected, and of them 8 in the Forestry Section. One them was Professor Kevin Bishop from the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment, SLU. Kevin Bishop is also Pro Vice-Chancellor at SLU with responsibility for environmental monitoring and assessment.

Kevin Bishop will receive his membership letter at the Commemorative Meeting on the 28th January 2020.

Facts:

KSLA (Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry) is working with issues relating to agriculture, horticulture, food, forestry and forest products, fishing, hunting and aquaculture, the environment and natural resources, and with agricultural and forest history.

The Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment do now have three fellows of KSLA, Kevin Bishop, Martyn Futter and Jenny Kreuger.
