Thesis projects 2021 - fish, mussels, coral reefs and bycatch

Published: 09 December 2021

The final days of year 2021 are approaching and this year, the Department of Aquatic Resources (SLU Aqua) have supervised and approved many interesting theses at the basic and advanced level.

Do you also want to write a thesis for one of our supervisors? Check out our thesis home page where you find new project proposals and earlier theses.

The graduates of 2021 studied a variety of topics, such as how water browning and eutrophication affect three-spined stickleback, and how grey seals affect pike populations. One project focused on coral reefs in the Caribbean, and another one on algal toxins in blue mussels. We also had a project focusing on decreasing unwanted bycatch in coastal fisheries
