Several research projects have been granted funding

The following projects within the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management have been granted funding from various Formas calls this autumn.

  • Anna Levinsson: Urbana träds kolmanifest in the Call for early career researchers. The project also includes Johanna Deak Sjöman and Henrik Sjöman from LAPF, together with Thomas Prade from BT 
  • Anna Levinsson: Climate adaptation of the built environment 2021 call. The project also includes Johanna Deak Sjöman, Henrik Sjöman and Tobias Emilsson from LAPF, together with Thomas Prade from BT and Johannes Edvardsson from LU.
  • Thomas Randrup: Under the Climate adaptation of the built environment 2021 call, the project BlueGreen Infrastructure for a Sustainable Climate Adaptation of the Future City received funding. This is an 8 mi project lead by Luleå Technical University, and complements a related project granted during the fall.
  • Thomas Randrup: Under the Early career researcher call, the project “Vildere natur? Betydelsen av den mänskliga faktorn vid främjande av biologisk mångfald”, was granted to Lisbeth Christoffersen, who will now have a PostDoc position at LAPF.
  • Henrik Sjöman: Participates in yet another application accepted for funding in the Climate adaptation of the built environment 2021 call, Toleranta träd för att främja hållbara städer i ett förändrat klimat together with Gothenborg University.

 

Anna Levinsson has also been granted funding for development research by Vetenskapsrådet for Optimering av långsiktig leverans av ekosystemtjänster från träd i Etiopiska städer. The project also includes Åsa Ode Sang, Henrik Sjöman and Tobias Emilsson from LAPF, Kumelachew Yeshitela (Addis Ababa University) and one PhD.
