Talk Series: Supervision discussion

Last changed: 07 January 2021

SLU Landscape PhD's Forum Talk Series on Supervision, on the 3rd of December 2020.

This was the first of a series of coming talks in the “Landscape PhD's Forum Talk Series”, where we try out different formats to build collegial support and ventilate PhD matters. In this talk, we discussed the topic of supervision. We discussed for instance how a change of supervision might work depending on if one is linked to a research project or not, and how projects can sometimes differ depending on if one is working on a monograph or compilation thesis.

The difficulty in documenting our zoom meetings became clearer as taking a print screen sometimes have been forgotten, and other times can appear quite dull. At this point, it was however a missed opportunity as we were happy to have new participants joining the group. A later event will have to show us all together as a group.
