Working group

Since its inception in 2014, SLU Landscape has evolved from a cross-departmental ‘portal’ for cooperation and joint profiling into an action-oriented network. In all its undertakings SLU Landscape adheres to the vision and values expressed in the LTV Faculty Strategy. Its Steering and Working groups promote and oversee results-oriented projects and planning efforts in three areas:

  • COOPERATION/COLLABORATION, though regular meetings, workshops, and bottom-up initiatives to create new joint action opportunities
  • STRATEGY/COMMUNICATION - https://www.slu.se/landscape collects and shares information about SLU Landscape and its steering group meets twice annually to set strategic goals
  • CULTURE BUILDING/STAFF DEVELOPMENT, through regular meetings like the SLU Landscape days (bi-annual cross campus meetings), the annual Call for Ideas, Teaching Synergy and PhDs Forum.

The Steering Group focuses on long-term strategy to support the mission of SLU Landscape and build its visibility inside SLU and beyond, on the international horizon. They are supported by a Working Group from Alnarp and Ultuna, representing a range of experience from recent hires to long-standing SLU Landscape staff.
