Seminar series: Gender perspectives in forest research education (GePFRE)
During six weeks this autumn, the research school BECFOR will offer a seminar series of gender perspective on various research and professional challenges. Due to Covid19 and restrictions, all seminars will be zoom webinars instead of campus meetings.
The seminar series will kick-off in the beginning of October and be aimed at, and open for, all the PhD-students and supervisors of the Faculty of Forest Sciences at SLU and employees at Skogforsk. 13 October: Introduction to BECFOR seminars on gender strategic work. Special guests from NYKS, Nätverket för Yrkesverksamma Kvinnor i Skogsbranschen. (Network for women in the forest sector).
20 October: Skogforsk hosting the meeting
27 October: Counting bodies, Gender Equality and Meritocracy

3 November: The gender strategic work in the forest faculty boards, Lärarförslagsnämnden and Docentnämnden.

17 November: Gender and Forests: management, policy and governance. Seminar introducing the concepts discussed further in the Ph D course with the same name. Presenter Elias Andersson.
