Propose an Organism Biology activity

Last changed: 04 March 2022

All biology‐oriented PhD students at the BioCenter and their supervisors are strongly encouraged to suggest activities in the research school Organism Biology.

OB has the funding necessary to satisfy the need of the core target group for courses, workshops, seminars and networking activities. But, we depend on input to realize what these needs are!

Suggested activities should primarily be aimed for biology‐oriented PhD students at the BioCenter.

Activity suggestions can be made at any time, but…

  • Spring activities must be suggested before the end of Sept the year before
  • Autumn activities must be suggested before the end of March the same year

The minimal assumed target group must consist of five PhD students but can also include other scientists and master students.

To suggest an activity, answer the questions and send the form to one of the Organism Biology coordinators (addresses in footer).

  1. Your name, position and department.
  2. Title/topic/focus of suggested activity.
  3. Your prediction about size and composition of the target group for the suggested activity.
  4. Your detailed ideas about content, format, responsible organizer, suitable teachers, and extent in time/credits (if any).
