What are you allowed to do with the e-books?
E-books — how does it work?
Through the SLU Library, students and employees have access to a wide range of e-books from different publishers and suppliers.
You can find all our e-books in the library's search tool Primo. You will find them by selecting "Books" and "Full text online".
Below you will find short descriptions of our largest e-ebook collections, plus tips about some free collections.
Ebook Central is the SLU University Library's main supplier of e-books, with a collection spanning across all SLU disciplines.
You need to create a personal account to download the books and print individual chapters. When creating your account you must connect through the university's network (on campus or via VPN), but then you can download the books to your computer, tablet or mobile phone from anywhere.
When logged in, you can use all smart functions, like saving books to a personal bookshelf, making bookmarks and adding comments.
Here you can find detailed instructions for using Ebook Cetral.
