The Hernquist collection in Skara
The Hernquist Collection is a unique collection of books, many dating back to the late 18th century. The titles of the book collection can be searched in the web catalogue called "Grållan".
Peter Hernquist (1726-1808) was the founder of Sweden’s first veterinary school in 1775. The school was located to Skara, and a part of the extensive book collection of Hernquist is still available for those interested in veterinary history and agricultural science.
