What does the concept Flipped Classroom mean and how can you use the method for developing  your teaching?

Flipped Classroom

The concept of Flipped Classroom, or "the reversed classroom" means that the students prepare with educational material before the lecture. In this way, the lecture or lesson can be devoted to discussion and questions in a more active and stimulating way. Materials for Flipped Classroom can consist of both media or text.
