The infrastructure is also accessible through the Swedish LifeWatch WFS and WMS services.
A web feature service could be described as a map version of the geographic information in the databases. You may access web feature services directly via URL-calls (an HTTP interface for requesting georeferenced features from a server) or by adding the service as a data source or layer to your GIS program.
