Call for Working Group proposals

The call for working group proposals opens on 1st of December 2025.

The deadline for submitting proposals is on the 15th of March 2026.

The submitters will be notifed about the approval or rejection of their working group proposals on the 31st of March 2026.

You can find the accepted working groups on our website from the 1st of April 2026.

 

Call for Abstracts

The call for abstracts opens on the 1st of April 2026.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is on the 31st of May 2026.

The submitters will be notifed about the approval or rejection of their abstract proposals on the 15th of June 2026.

 

Registration

The registration opens on the 15th of June 2026.

 

Venue and how to get there

The 3rd National Conference Ruralities and Regions in Transition is held at Conventum in Örebro from the 11-12th of November 2026. You can reach the conference venou by train. The nearest train station is Örebro Södra. 

We encourage our participants booking the environmental friendly alternative. Find the train schedules here.

 

Accommodation

Opposite the conference venue is the Scandic Grand Hotel and thus the closest alternative for accommodation. In Örebro, other alternative accommodations may suit your preferences regarding standards and prices.

 
However, we have been informerd there is a World Championship in Disco dancing in Örebro this week. Therefore, many hotels are already booked. We have managed to pre-book some rooms at Scandic Hotel Grand. This hotel option will be avalible for our conference guest when registraring for the conference.
