Fördjupningskurs i skoglig föryngring

The course will be held as partly a distance course on 50 % study time, scheduled on the summer semester (6/6-28/8 2022). Most of the course is taught and examined by distance learning but one full week is mandatory excursions. Students will be encouraged to submit their written assignments in English but could be accepted in Swedish. The field week will be held in Swedish if all students are fluent in the language, otherwise in English. The course includes two individual assignments, one based on literature studies that will be submitted prior to the field week and one fieldwork project that should be presented at the field week. The fieldwork project is launched already in the first weeks, where the student will measure and follow survival and vitality of newly planted seedlings from June-August. List of the available projects will be provided during the first meeting.
