Innovation och bioekonomi
This course builds on two interrelated parts; a review of different theoretical concepts of innovation and circular bioeconomy, interwoven with empirical cases of innovation from the food, fiber and energy sectors that promote a more circular bioeconomy in society. The course is implemented through a set of literature reviews, seminars and assignments, with about five scheduled course meetings.

Transitions to circular bioeconomy has gained considerable interests in policy, industry and academic circles to move society away from unsustainability and promote more sustainable futures. Innovation is needed to achieve such transitions. Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to - Describe and discuss ideas, concepts and theories of innovation and the bioeconomy. - Identify, analyze and critically reflect on empirical examples of innovation in the bioeconomy.Innehåll
