Education for Life at SLU
With a unique blend of educational programmes and courses, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is a world-class university, and one-of-a-kind in Sweden. Specialising in life and environmental sciences, no other Swedish university offers programmes in natural resources, veterinary medicine, landscape design, agronomy, and forest sciences.
SLU is a university with a very important purpose: to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve global sustainable development. At SLU, we engage students in some of the most important issues facing the 21st century, such as global warming, the food crisis, and our dependence on non-renewable energy. Students are encouraged to face these challenges head-on and create a greener, cleaner and more sustainable world.
There are several options for international students who wish to study at SLU. If you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree, you may be able to attend SLU as part of an exchange programme. If you have already completed an undergraduate degree, you can apply to one of our Master’s or Erasmus Mundus programmes. If you have already completed a Master’s degree, you may be able to attend SLU as a research or Ph.D. student.
