I forgot to apply before deadline

Answer: After the application deadline, applications to SLU’s courses and programmes are temporarily closed. This also applies if you have already been admitted to a programme and are only taking programme-specific courses.

Late applications will then open for courses and programmes where places may still be available:

  • Courses, including programme courses and Master's programmes, vill open for late applications once the admission results have been published, i.e. mid-July for the autumn semester.
    SLU strongly encourage all international students to apply in the first admission round, as non-EU/EEA students who require a residence permit won't have enough time to apply for and receive one.

Just because a course or programme is open for late applications does not necessarily mean that places are still available. If they are, you may be offered a place even if the application deadline has passed. Naturally, you must meet the entry requirements. Late applications are processed in the order in which they are received.
