The Heart Clinic is highly specialized in the heart and heart disease in animals. We offer high-quality veterinary care and service to animals and pet owners who visit us.
About the Heart Clinic
At the Heart Clinic, we primarily examine dogs and cats, but we also welcome other animals such as rabbits, rodents and birds.
The Heart Clinic (cardiology) works with both simple and more complicated cases of heart diseases. You can visist the clinic via booking an appointment at the animal hospital or have a referral from other animal clinics. In addition to providing care for heart disease, we also offer heart examinations before breeding (breeding ultrasound screening) for various dog and cat breeds.
Our experienced specialists, veterinary nurses and animal caretakers work at the clinic, ensuring that animals and pet owners have a safe and professional experience whilst visiting us. We use the latest technology to offer modern and high-quality animal health care.
The future of animal healthcare
At SLU University Animal Hospital, we work to educate the veterinarians and animal nurses of the future, including at the Heart Clinic. Here, our students are part of our daily operations. We also conduct research with the goal of contributing to improved diagnostics, treatment and prevention of common heart diseases in dogs and cats.
