Welcome to our student-run clinic for small animals, which is run by students in their final year of the veterinary and animal nursing programs.
Opening hours
Our student-run clinic is open during the fall and spring semesters when our students study here at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
The clinic is open in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays during each semester.
Examinations and prices
We welcome dogs and cats to our student-run small animal clinic for simple ailments, check-ups and advice. There is always licensed staff on site to support the students in their work. If your animal needs further medical examinations, you are offered a booking at our regular Small Animal Clinic.
Examples of examinations that the student-run clinic offers:
- Health check
- Ear check
- Lump check
- Vaccination (not including rabies)
- Deworming
- Wound check/cleaning/bandaging
- Dental check
- Body fat and weight check/feeding advice
- Claw check and clipping
The examinations are on discount and each cost 550 SEK. Deworming and vaccinations are offered with a 20% discount. Any sample analyses are charged based on the regular price list.
Our Stuffed Animal Clinic
Bring your child to our stuffed animal clinic and learn how a visit to the vet works! Children are welcome to bring their stuffed animal to experience what a visit to an animal hospital is like. The students who receive you at the clinic will then have the opportunity to practice communicating with children.
Visits with stuffed animals are completely free, but must be booked in advance. To book an appointment, please contact the Small Animal Clinic.
Our Student-Run Rabbit Clinic
We welcome rabbits and rodents to our student-run rabbit clinic! The rabbit clinic is open every Tuesday where we offer help with various types of care needs for your animal.
