Umeå

SLU Umeå is the main campus of the Faculty of Forest Sciences.  It is situated close to Umeå University in an open environment. The scenery is beautiful with lots of birches and the Swedish mountains close by.

In Röbäcksdalen, south of the Ume river (Umeälven) you can find the second SLU unit. The Department of Northern Agricultural Sciences and the Unit for Biomass Technology and Chemistry are appropriately located right here in Umeå's agricultural district.
