Diagnostic Imaging

At SLU University Animal Hospital, we offer a wide range of imaging diagnostics services such as X-rays, ultrasound and scintigraphy.

Our Diagnostic Imaging Unit works closely with our other departments at the animal hospital. We have modern equipment on site and offer high-quality animal healthcare in diagnostic imaging. We have several specialists in the field whose work covers all animal species. 

Specialists in diagnostic imaging 

Did you know that SLU University Animal Hospital is the only approved training facility in Sweden for a European specialist degree in the subject? That is something we are really proud of!

We offer specialist training (DipECVDI) for both horses and small animals in diagnostic imaging. We are the only animal hospital in Sweden that has European specialists in diagnostic imaging for all animal species. Our diagnostic imaging unit is an important part of the animal hospital's daily operations.
