The Lab Portal
When ordering analyses, you can now use our lab portal to get faster handling of samples when they arrive at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory. It is also possible to follow the sample's journey from ordering the analysis to registration and then reporting of results.
How to become a lab portal customer
To become a lab portal customer, you need a fixed IP address. That is, an unchangeable internet address that the system always uses when in use. This IP address is usually found under network settings and is used to ensure that only authorized devices have access to the system. You also need the account ID which you are assigned when you sign up as a customer with us.
For new customers who have not previously registered, click here and fill out the form (link).
For customers who are already registered and also wish to become lab portal customers, email KlinKemLab@slu.se with the subject "Lab portal customer + account ID". Please include the fixed IP address(es) that the lab portal will use.
After applying to become a lab portal customer, the laboratory will return to you with login details as soon as the IP addresses have been registered.
Remember to:
- mark samples clearly with name and lab number before sending them.
- state the date the sample is sent
- state how the sample has been stored on the order form if it has not been filled in digitally in advance.
