Worth knowing are short popular science lectures about research and environmental assessment at SLU. Research at SLU dares to question established knowledge and aims to solve real problems for a living world. You can listen online or on site in Uppsala.
Why Worth knowing
Worth knowing invites you to short lectures with a researcher at SLU. In this way, we want to increase knowledge about research by presenting a selection of the various research projects at SLU in a popular science format. The entire programme takes no more than an hour.
Come and listen in Uppsala or online
At present, only Uppsala is organising Worth knowing lectures. All upcoming lectures are streamed live on SLU play and the library's Facebook page, and you can also listen to them afterwards on SLU play.
You can find the current programme in the library calendar.
In connection with each Worth knowing lecture, tasty sandwiches are served from 11:45. The lectures start at 12:15 and last until 13:00. The last 15 minutes are usually dedicated to questions. Limited number of seats available in Uppsala.

Language of the lectures
The lectures are sometimes held in Swedish and sometimes in English. The language is indicated in the presentation of the lecture in question.
