SLU University Library can support you in your studies or work in a variety of ways. Visit our digital drop-in, or book an appointment at a time that suits you.

Search and reference assistance

Come to our digital drop-in every Wednesday from 13:00 to 15:00 during term time. As a student or employee at SLU, you can get help from a librarian without booking an appointment in advance.

You can get help with, for example:

  • information searching
  • reference management
  • source evaluation

You can connect by clicking the Zoom-link below. If the librarian is already in a meeting, you will be placed in a queue.

You can also book an appointment at a time that suits you.

Help with academic language and writing

Come to our digital drop-in every Wednesday from 13:00 to 15:00 during term time. As a student or employee at SLU, you can get help from a language tutor without booking an appointment in advance.

You can get help with, for example:

  • reading and writing
  • academic style and structure
  • presentations

You can join by clicking the Zoom-link below. If the language tutor is already in a meeting you will be placed in a queue.

You can also book an appointment at a time that suits you.

Support for students with reading and writing difficulties

SLU University Library also offers support for students with reading and writing difficulties. If you have dyslexia, visual impairment, mobility impairment or another functional impairment that makes it difficult for you to read printed text, we can help you access talking books via Legimus.

Systematic searches (for employees)

The library's search specialists are available to discuss search strategies, search techniques and database selection for doctoral students and researchers at SLU.

Handling research and environmental data

Do you have questions about data management? Book a "data date", for yourself or together with your colleagues.
