The historical collection in Uppsala
The historical collection in Uppsala consists of literature from the former libraries at the Veterinary University College, the Agricultural University College, and the Ultuna Agricultural Institute.
The collection is divided into two sub-collections. One consists of monographs up to 1830 from the Veterinary University College library. The other comprises all literature printed up to 1800 from the Agricultural University College Library, as well as the most interesting books from the 19th century from the Ultuna Agricultural Institute.
Please note that the library building will be renovated and rebuilt 2025–2026. During this time, the historical collection will be placed in closed stacks and materials will only be made available in exceptional cases.
The historical collection will be relocated when the library moves back to the library building.
