Document templates for theses and publications

The SLU Library has Word document templates for student theses and SLU publications that follow SLU's brand guidelines.

The library's templates

  • Doctoral theses. The thesis template is mandatory to use for doctoral theses (for the “kappa” or summary chapter in compilation theses and monographs). It can also be used for licentiate theses.
  • Student theses and independent student projects
  • Reports

The templates are updated regularly and follow SLU's guidelines for SLU publications. Here you will find the latest versions of the templates:

Other SLU templates

The SLU division of communication has several templates. If you prefer to work in InDesign, there is for example a template for reports.

Accessibility

Pdf documents published by SLU must be compliant with the Swedish accessibility regulations. Here you will find instructions on how to create accessible pdf files:
