Acclimatize - A symposium on the role of museums in the transition towards a sustainable future

Join us for a symposium a cut above the ordinary, where we discuss some of the museum exhibitions and programmes focusing on climate change and sustainability that have taken place over the past few years. We will look at the success factors and pitfalls and explore the roads that lie ahead.

Museums are places for stories and memories, open forums for discussion and reflection. They offer unique opportunities for contributing to the transition to a sustainable future. In this symposium, we want to invite experiences from the many past and present exhibitions and programmes on climate change and sustainability, and to discuss the keys to success and the pitfalls. Based on these discussions, we will also explore possible roads for future efforts.

The symposium is open especially for those who work in the museum sector with exhibitions and collections, education and events, and communications.
