Visual storytelling is increasingly seen as an effective and creative way of communicating sustainability issues. This workshop will introduce participants the fundamentals of visual thinking and demonstrate how visualisation techniques can be of use in sustainability communication. The workshop will offer practical exercises to help participants get started in applying visual storytelling in their communication practice.

This session is an open-ended participative discussion on the complexities of managing environmental reporting processes. During the session participants will identify major issues and challenges in reporting, hard-to-reach publics, consumers and stakeholders, opportunities to reinvent reporting mechanisms, as well as success stories and sources of inspiration. The discussion will form a basis for a larger organizational survey on the subject.
