  • May 8, 2024 (courses in period 2 and 3)

Wednesday afternoons should not be scheduled.

  • If a course lecture that is not compulsory is booked on a Wednesdays afternoon it must be stated in the timetable that the lecture is not compulsory. This applies even if a room booking is necessary or not. Scheduling of "independent studies" is acceptable on a Wednesday afternoon.
  • If a course lecture is compulsory and must be booked on a Wednesday afternoon then the teacher must apply for an exemption and justify the reasons and suggest possible solutions. Study excursions are such an exemption example, particularly if they last over several days.
  • General exemptions is to be made for distance program studies, evening courses, and summer courses and commissioned education.

You can find the form to apply for exemption on the Swedish website, För lärare i Alnarp.
