Degree structure

All education and degrees are divided into three levels that build on each other: basic level, advanced level and research level. Each new level is based on you having studied at the previous level.
Sweden's current education and degree structure was introduced on 1 January 2007 and is part of Sweden's adaptation of higher education to European educational cooperation within the framework of the Bologna Process.
