Admitted to summer courses
On this page you will find information about what steps to take if you are admitted to courses during the summer 2026.
First class - find your schedule
You will find a link to your course schedule (“Schedule in TimeEdit”) on the course page. Use the course search to find your course page.
At the first class, you will receive important information about the course and the requirements in relation to examination and grading. If you are unable to make the first class, contact the department responsible for the course in advance. You will find contact information on the course page.
Registration in Ladok student
If you are admitted to a course or programme at SLU, you must register in order to keep your place, take part in the teaching, be covered by insurance and have your study results documented.
How to register
If you have been admitted to a freestanding course, you are usually able to register online. Online registration will be open in Ladok one week before the course starts. To be able to register online, you need to activate your student IT account first.
If you cannot register online, your teacher can also register you at the roll call/first lecture. Note: The Study guidance and the Admissions Office at SLU cannot register students.
You will find your schedule on the course page. Use the course search to find your course page
If you are admitted after the course has started
If you have been admitted to a program or course that has already started, it is important that you participate in the classes as soon as possible.
You will find your schedule on the course page. Use the course search to find your course page
Access card
SLU’s premises are mostly open during the daytime. However, some areas require an access card, even during the daytime, to permit entry. An access card is primarily required for using computer labs, etc., in the evening and on weekends.
Once you are registered in an SLU course, you will receive an email informing you that you can pick up your access card from the service centre. It can take up to two days from registration before you receive this email.
Check that you are registered as a student before you visit the service centre. You can check if you are registered at Ladok Student.
When collecting your card, you will need to bring ID and sign a receipt for your access card. You will be given your personal access card, the terms of use, information about how the card works and the PIN for the card. The PIN is generated automatically by the system and cannot be changed.
Information if you been placed on a waiting list
If you are on a waiting list, you have to be offered a place before you can register. SLU will contact you if you can be offered a place. Only students who are admitted to a course or programme should attend the course.
The University cannot estimate your chances of getting a place
We regret that the University cannot reply to questions about your chances of getting a place or when any notification may come.
