On the following Wednesdays, we have drop-in sessions on campus in Ultuna (Ulls hus) and/or Alnarp (Alnarpsgården). 

  • 5 November, 11:00 - 16:00 Ultuna näringslivsdag (Ulls hus and Undervisningshuset). 
  • 12 November, 12:00 - 16:00 Ultuna VMF Näringslivsdag (VHC)
  • 19 November, 12:30 - 13:30 Ultuna and Alnarp (by the Service centre)

    International scientific advice

    The Department of Aquatic Resources works with international scientific advice. We participate in cross-border research collaborations, provide expert support for international negotiations, and hold expert roles in several international organisations.

    We are acting on behalf of the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management as the data host for the data collected within national and regional environmental monitoring, as well as data at international level within the Data Collection Framework.

    The Institute of Freshwater Research is one of three divisions within the Department of Aquatic Resources. We are based at Drottningholm, on the shores of Lake Mälaren.

    Lake Biotestsjön

    The Biotest Lake is an approximately 90-hectare enclosed water reservoir that receives heated cooling water from the Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant. This creates a unique environment about 8 degrees warmer than the surrounding sea, but otherwise entirely natural.
