Ultuna Student Union (ULS)

The student union is a natural meeting place from day one. We organise our popular orientation weeks (kick-off) for all our new students. After that, there is a wide range of activities, parties and events to participate in.

Perhaps you would like to:

• Do crafts with the crafts committee
• Put on a play with Ultunaspexet
• Go to formal dinners and balls
• Play sports with Ultuna's sports association
• Sing in our choirs
• And much, much more.

In total, the union has over 30 committees and 7 independent associations linked to our activities. All activities are organised by students for students. If you want to get involved and help organise activities yourself, keep an eye on our social media, where information about union meetings where we select new officials will be posted.

Ultuna Student Union is the union for all students studying bachelor's or master's programmes at the Ultuna campus, as well as doctoral students linked to departments operating at the Ultuna campus. Veterinary students and animal nursing students who also study at Ultuna have their own union: the Veterinary Medicine Association (VMF).

The ULS union building is centrally located on Campus Ultuna, adjacent to other premises where education and research are conducted. The union building is the hub of the union. This is where the union board and several of the committees have their offices. There is also a library, meeting rooms, a bar and a dance floor. During the day, everyone is welcome to heat up and eat their lunch here. The union building is an excellent place to hang out if you want to meet new people. There is often a feverish atmosphere in the building and there is almost always someone who can answer your questions about studies and student life.

ULS has international students and the union has its own committee that works to welcome them to campus. They also organise ongoing activities throughout the year, but all international students are always welcome at ULS events.

As a member of ULS, you have the opportunity to rent student accommodation, corridors, doubles and flats on campus through the Ultuna Student Accommodation Foundation. You must be a member of the union to be eligible to live in
