How to apply in the second autumn admissions round for the autumn semester

The second admissions round is the regular admissions round for students from Sweden, the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Please note that you will receive your Notification of Selection Results (the admission decision) in mid-July.

This admissions round includes all Swedish-taught courses and programmes. Many English-taught programmes are not available on antagning.se.

Applying in the second admissions round for EU/EEA and Swiss students

Please note that your Notification of Selection Results will be published in mid-July. The autumn semester usually starts in late August or early September.

To apply for a programme or a course at SLU, create an account and log in at antagning.se. You then need to contact the SLU Admissions Office for guidance.

  1. Click Log in on antagning.se.

  2. Select University account, then select Logga in, Studentportal and choose  Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet from the drop-down list.

  3. Enter the five-digit codes for the programme(s) or course(s) you want to apply for, for example SLU-12345.

    It is important to apply on time. The deadline depends on the programme or course you are applying for. Read more about key dates and deadlines for the second admissions round.

  4. You also need to contact the SLU Admissions Office for application guidance.

If you have been admitted to a programme and accepted your place, you can find more information about the start of the course, timetable and reading list on the programme and course pages.

Reply to your admission decision in the second admissions round

If you are admitted or placed on the waiting list after the second admissions round, you must accept your place to keep it. Follow the instructions in your Notification of Selection Results, which you can find by logging in at antagning.se. You also need to check Important dates and deadlines so that you do not miss the deadline to reply to your offer. Scroll down to the heading Second admissions round.
