After completing the course, students should, orally and in writing, be able to:
- account for theoretical perspectives on policy and administration in the field that the subject rural development constitutes;
- describe how decision-making takes place in the Swedish political system, including the EU level, and describe the role of the public administration in the political system;
- make assessments concerning policy-based conditions for rural development and relate analytically and critically to political systems and programs.
