Content
Landscape engineers work within the green sector with challenges linked to sustainable planning and management of the cities of the future. The challenges for landscape engineers of the future are complex, not least because there are many actors to deal with and strong, sometimes conflicting interests. Our tool regarding to working with people in complex situations is communication.
The course deals with professional roles such as the authority and project leader roles and its preconditions with a focus on communicative aspects and project management in practice. This incorporates study visits and guest lectures as well as a project work in groups.
During the course, skills are practiced mainly in practical exercises, while lectures and literature seminars are primarily aimed at deepening theoretical understanding and new approaches.
During the course, a major group assignment is carried out where the group follows and analyzes a real project with a focus on how the project has been managed and how it has progressed.
Mandatory elements are literature seminars, presentation of projects and opposition to projects.
