Umeå

Lecture halls

Bokskogen is in the library on the 3rd floor. Kurslabb 44 and Sibirien are on the 4th floor. Additional lecture halls are located on the 5th and 6th floors. There are QR codes outside all rooms that can be scanned to view the room's schedule.

Group rooms

The group rooms are located close to the library. There are 8 group rooms for 5-8 people, which can be reserved through TimeEdit. Read more about how to reserve group rooms.

Computer rooms

There are 3 computer rooms on the 5th floor. Additional computers are available in the adjacent open space.

Lunch rooms

Packed lunches can be heated in Åteln on the 5th floor or by the dishwashing station in the restaurant on the 3rd floor.

Gym

A gym, locker rooms and a joint sauna can be found on the 1st floor.

Resting room

A lockable resting room is available on the 4th floor, across from the teaching hall Sibirien. If you need help, please contact the Service Centre.

Student lockers

Available student lockers are located next to the Service Centre on the 3rd floor and behind the staircase on the 2nd floor. The lockers are free to use. Bring your own padlock.

Lost and found

Found items and valuables can be recovered from the Service Centre against description. Found clothing, etc., can be recovered from the chest of drawers outside the silent reading room Skärmen.

Uppsala

Lecture Halls

There are two larger lecture halls on the ground floor, Lennart Kennes sal and A241, and three smaller ones, C212, C213 and C216.

Training laboratories

BioCentre is home to three biological training labs, BÖL. They are located in the B-corridor (on the east side of the building)

Group rooms

There are two reservable group rooms at BioCentre, E202 and E203. Read more about how to reserve a group room here.

Lunchroom

A kitchenette/lunchroom available to students is located between Lennart Kennes sal and A241. There are also vending machines on the ground floor.

Resting room

In the B-corridor, you can find a student resting room, B211d.

Lecture halls

You will find two lecture halls at Ecology Centre: Tammsalen, on the ground floor in building A, and F-salen on the 4th floor in building F. There is also a course lab in building D.

Lunchroom

By the entrance, between buildings A and F, a lunchroom is available for students to microwave and eat packed lunches.

Resting room

A lockable resting room is available to students between buildings C and D.

Lecture halls

There is one lecture hall in the MVM-building - Framtiden (A2034). The conference room Biosfären (B2069) is also used for teaching.

Computer rooms

There are three computer rooms in the MVM-building, located in the B-block.

Group rooms

The MVM-building has one reservable group room: B2037. Read more about how to reserve a group room here.

Training laboratories

The MVM-building houses the MEKÖL-training labs. MEKÖL includes Chemistry lab A1, A2 and A3, as well as the Earth/Ecology lab (JE).

Lunchroom

A kitchenette/lunchroom, A2033, available to students is located to the right of the main entrance.

Resting room

A resting room, A2110b, for students is available by the toilets by the JE-lab.

Lost and found

Lost items can be handed in and returned at the goods reception.

The ground floor of Ulls hus is available to all students. If you need help or information, the Service Centre is located in building A. Read more about the Service Centre.

Lecture halls

Two larger lecture halls, Sal V and Sal W, are located on the ground floor of building E. Additionally, six smaller halls are located in building B: Sal PSal QSal RSal SSal T and Sal U. In building D, three lecture halls are located: Sal XSal Y, and Sal Z.

On the bottom floor of the Teaching building are two larger lecture halls, Sal K and Sal L, and four smaller halls, Sal H, Sal N, Sal O1 and Sal O2.

Drawing rooms, studio and workshop

Three drawing rooms are located on the ground floor of building C. A studio and workshop are located in building D.

Computer rooms

On the bottom floor of building A are three computer rooms.

Group rooms

Group rooms are located in all buildings of Ulls hus. In total, there are 17 reservable group rooms for 6-10 people. Read more about how to reserve a group room here.

Lunchroom

There are two kitchenettes/lunchrooms on the ground floor of Ulls hus, one in building B and one in building C, where you can microwave and eat brought lunches. There is also a small store where you can buy lunch or fika.

Resting room

There is one lockable resting room on the ground floor of building B, across from the store. Please contact our Service Centre if you need help or have questions.

Prayer room

During the renovation of the library building, a prayer room is located on the bottom floor of the Teaching building, in group room M2.

Lost and found

Lost items and valuables can be returned upon description in Service Centre in Ulls hus. Clothing and the like are left in the box behind the elevators in building A, by the recycling station.

The entire ground floor of VHC is open to students.

Lecture halls and anatomical theatres

On the ground floor of building 5 are the lecture halls: Are, Audhumbla, Särimner, Ymer (training laboratory), Dvalin, and Ratatosk. On the ground floor of building 4, you will also find the anatomical theatres Patologen and Asis.

Group room

In buildings 4 and 5, several group rooms are located on the ground floor and are reservable through TimeEdit. In total, there are 12 larger group rooms for up to 12 students, equipped with computer monitors and a connection for external computers. There are also 8 smaller group rooms for up to 6 students. Lunchroom

To the left of the main entrance to VHC is a kitchenette/lunchroom equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, a vending machine, and a coffee machine. There is also a café where you can buy lunch or fika.

Resting room

On the ground floor of building 5, a resting room is located at the end of the corridor by the lecture hall Audhumbla. To gain access to the resting room, please contact the reception at the main entrance of VHC.

Lost and found

Lost property can be handed in to the reception at the main entrance of building 5 or at the university animal hospital's small animals clinic reception, and may be returned upon description.

The library building in Ultuna is under renovation in 2026. Meanwhile, the library has been temporarily moved to Ulls hus, on the 3rd floor of building block A.
