Reporting mentoring hours

Page reviewed:  13/02/2026

To receive payment for your work as a mentor, you must report the hours you have completed. Please ensure you have an agreement with the coordinators before starting any assignment.

Compensation

A mentorship comprises one hour per week unless otherwise agreed, and you will be paid SEK 150 per hour.

Reporting the hours worked

Timesheet

You need to report the hours you have worked each month using the timesheet for mentors. Fill in your timesheet electronically and your hours will be automatically summarised. Contact the coordinator if you need help filling out the form.

Complete the blue fields and add the number of hours worked

Only the blue fields are to be completed, and the number of hours worked. State the time with decimals, for example one hour and fifteen minutes as 1.25. Do not include breaks. More detailed information on filling in the timesheet.

Submitting the timesheet

Email a copy of the completed timesheet to funka@slu.se. If you submit the timesheet the first few days of a month, you will receive payment at the end of the same month. It is also possible to report several months at the same time.

Register your bank account

Payments to mentors and note-takers are made by Swedbank. You need to register your bank account with Swedbank. If you do not register your account, you will receive a payment note that you can deposit or redeem at a bank, for a fee.
