
Francisco X Aguilar, professor of forest economics
Francisco Xavier Aguilar Cabezas is a professor of forest economics since 1 september 2019. His inauguration lecture has the title "Forest economics: a 'lagom' response to sustainability aspirations".
The overarching aim of Francisco X Aguilar's research is to actively contribute to the sustainable development of forest resources and forest-dependent communities. He strives to achieve this objective by generating information that will play a key role in the decision-making process involved in implementing public policies to promote economic development and improve forest management.
