Developing Kvarken’s non-wood forest product sector - examples from Finland and Sweden

seminars, workshops |
Picture of people hiking in the forest, sap-tapping, mushrooms and berries

Non-wood forest products offer various underused income and business possibilities both to the forest owners and different types of companies. Come to listen experts on wild berries, sap and chaga mushroom and learn how you can draw more benefits from your forests than just wood or how to build a raw material supply network for your company!

In addition to expert presentations, the webinar includes an Q & A -section in which you can ask in small thematic groups practical advice and experiences from the advanced companies in the sector. The presentations are held in English, but the material will be available also in Finnish and Swedish. The Q & A –session will be multilingual, and you are free to ask your questions and get the answers either in Finnish, Swedish or English. To ensure that you will get extensive answers to your questions, you can present them already in the registration phase, in which case they are delivered beforehand to the experts for consideration. Welcome!

After the general section, we move on to smaller interest groups: sap, mushrooms and berries. There will be experts in each group and questions can be asked in English, Swedish and Finnish.
