Land-based RAS produces more Swedish-farmed fish

Aquaculture has various conditions in different parts of the country. In northern Sweden, rainbow trout and Arctic charr are farmed in large cages, while in the south there are mainly land-based farming of e.g. tilapia and catfish. In our new webinar series "Sustainable from the North to the South" we look into different production methods, challenges and opportunities for Swedish aquaculture.

Sustainable from north to south - four webinars on aquaculture

Researchers and farmers will talk about how they work to make Swedish aquaculture even more sustainable. For example, how do they work with circular production, both to minimize the environmental impact and to obtain an increased seafood production?
