What themes and places do rural and regional researchers investigate? To what extent are they cooperating with other researchers and with societal actors? What challenges do they see for the field itself and for Swedish ruralities?
As part of a government initiative to promote collaboration in Swedish rural and regional research the division of rural development at SLU launched an online-survey to get a better understanding of how researchers work in rural and regional research.
With 155 received so far we take this occasion to present its preliminary outcomes and discuss collegially future needs and trajectories for the field.
