Anne Dray, Ivan Novotny and Lucas Baumann will discuss the future of sustainable agriculture in Togo from a socioeconomic, cultural, and biophysical perspective. The full title of the seminar is: "Transdisciplinary research for equitable agroecosystem restoration".
The seminar will consist of three short sessions. First, Anne Dray, will discuss the Companion Modelling approach (ComMod). ComMod relies on agent-based models and role-playing games that help to understand the interaction between social actors and collective decision-making processes. In the second session Lucas Baumann Project leader of Happy Togo will focus on the sustainable innovations promoted by two pivotal NGOs acting in the area, Happy Togo and Étoile Verte. Ivan Novotny will end the seminar with a description of their current research and discus how they will explore sustainable pathways for Togo based on the current context.

Lucas Baumann, Project leader and Coordinator of the NGO Happy Togo, which aims to promote agroecology in Togo
